hey! i'm keith and i made this little club for fun. i keep the last 20 messages in a database so they don't disappear when the server restarts, but that's it. no tracking. just storage for 20 messages and 2 second videos.
What I Store
Chat Messages: I store your last 20 chat messages in a local SQLite database. This includes:
- Your Bluesky handle
- Your message text
- Your 2-second video (as a data URL)
- Message timestamp
Automatic Deletion: Messages are automatically deleted once I have more than 20 messages in the database. I only keep the 20 most recent messages.
Download Your Data: You can download all stored messages at any time: Download Messages JSON
Videos and Bluesky
Local Videos: The 2-second videos you record are converted to video format and stored as data URLs in my database. They are deleted along with messages as described above.
When You Post to Bluesky: If you check the "Post to Bluesky" option, your video is uploaded to your Personal Data Server (PDS) as a blob and attached to your post. These blobs are stored on your PDS, not on my servers.
You can explore what's stored on your PDS using pdsls.dev - just enter your Bluesky handle to see all blobs and data stored on your Personal Data Server. You can see the account I used for testing here (isn't that cool??)
What I Don't Do
- I don't use analytics or tracking
- I don't sell or share your data
- I don't store IP addresses or personal information beyond what's shown in the chat
- I don't have access to your Bluesky password (I use OAuth)
